Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Beach Tour came to an enthralling close during Saint Lucia's Independence week of activity.
Teams as far as Bermuda, Antigua and Barbuda, St.Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Dominica and neighbouring island of St.Vincent battled against Team Saint Lucia for podium finishes in the inaugural beach tour games held in the island.
Team Saint Lucia prevailed in both Men and Women sections of the draw, with Joseph Clercent and Sheldon Descartes winning the men's draw and Chenoa Evans and Denila Prospere claiming the top spot in the women's draw.
Team Saint Lucia now sets their sights on the upcoming NORCECA Beach Tour.
Volleyball St. Lucia Inc. consists of competitive as well as school based affiliates. Certain clubs have been in existence for over twenty five (25) years which illustrates the passion for the sport within Saint Lucia.
