The South Stars Volleyball Club was established on December 12, 2012. Its founding members were originally members of Mopo Volleyball & Strivers Volleyball of Desruisseaux who came together to start South Stars.
At present, the club has a male and female team and comprises current and former national players, as well as young persons from Dennery to Vieux Fort. Training days are Sundays, 4 to 6 (ladies) and 6 to 9 (men); every other Monday, 7 to 10:30 and Wednesdays 7 – 10:30. All training sessions take place on the Micoud Multi-purpose court. Serious persons are welcome as we strive to make ours the number one club on the island. Our Executive is as follows:
